How do I sign up to get free installation of my solar panels?
- Contact us to let us know that you are interested in getting free
solar panel installation and let us know how/when to reach you, what US city & state you are in, and who your power company is. We have
agreements with power companies in most states but we should be sure before we spend any more of your time. - Once you receive the LOI/FAQ page and have discussed any questions you have with the program, initial all of the statements that are true for you (there are 4) and sign the form. You will notice that the form does not commit you to the service, it just informs us that you are interested.
- When contacted, set a date for a site inspection. This inspection is
to measure the size of your south facing roof and to check the roof and attic to make sure that your roof can support the panels. - After they send you the design document (so you will know what they will do) and the rental agreement, fill out and sign the rental agreement and send in the deposit they ask for (the first two months electric bill).
- Agree on a date for the installation.
- They install the panels and the electronics to run the system. They also tie the system into the utility’s power grid so you can bank the power. They set up the tie in agreement with the utility.
